This movie didn't give me A Few Brains More

***out of *****
(3 out of 5)

Independent film maker Christine Parker made a film, well a couple film's she is a resident to Sanford, NC and a couple months ago I was introduced to her and saw some trailers and clips from her film's I had the opportunity to watch one and I did enjoy myself, very funny, I laughed allot, it wasn't terrible, it was actually pretty fun, these movies are made from close to nothing and turn out to be fun and bloody, with fun dialogue, and bloody violence, its hard not to like, its not the best inde film i've seen, but the best one about Zombies.

The Film Follows four student's who are going to a summer concert fest, and encounter with Lily and Jack, who are these two? Jack is a zombie, and Lilly is a creation of Dead Eye, with his Youth potion he made Lily immortal, lilly finds out dead eye is back and want's to end him, The story sounds fun and it is, there are some good performances in here, but not many, you can tell the film has some work to it, but some actors fall flat, I still enjoyed it. This film is a sequel to a film Christine has done, A Fistful Of Brains which I have not seen, but I plan too.

It's defiantly worth checking out if you have the chance to ifs a few brains more of its time!

Immortals is a gift from the Gods!

300 was an amazing movie, great visuals, good story, gritty, and violent, when I heard about Immortal's I was excited, until I saw the trailer, I was disappointing, it wasn't much, then the second trailer was released and I thought "Hey this could be good" then the third trailer was released and it was astonishing. I really enjoyed Immortals for what it was, not to much of a story, but damn if it didn't blow my mind, I saw it twice on opening weekend, I loved it, it had it's flaws and it was a guy flick for sure, but it was a good time, and really enjoyable.

THE IMMORTALS movie preview images! image

The story follows Theseus, a mortal who is trained by Zues to outlaw King Hyperion from ruling the God's and releasing the Titan's, his mother and town was brutally murdered and he at the virgin oracle and with some asshole men go to overrule Hyperion, the story is simple and goofy, but it works it has great special effects and the 3D is just as good as Transformers, allot of gore and bloody men shit, we all crave it don't pretend you don't, the movie really won with me, it went well and was damn enjoyable.

The acting and was okay, Rourke is just as good in Iron Man 2, most people would like this, more men will like this but thats okay they had Twilight, this hit's hard, very recommended.

This is a very Harold and Kunar 3D Christmas

Harold: is that a joint?

Harold and Kumar have been making us laugh for along time now, and its about time to have a Christmas movie, including tons of weed and sex jokes! I laughed allot in this movie and the 3D was pretty good, if you want dicks and drugs in your face I highly recommend it the movie follows Kumar and Harold have grown apart and Santa sends a special gift to reunite them, it has tons of funny jokes and a a lot of goofy 3D antics it had me laughing from start to finish, it was a good spoof Christmas movie. I give it 3 stars for making me laugh and having a good reunite story.

The Tower Heist went well

Slide: Now I remember you! Your little seizure boy!

Tower Heist was a pretty funny film, kept me interested and made me laugh, it wasn't one of the funniest films all year but it turned out well. I enjoyed seeing Murphy back on screen after awhile, and I felt like it was good to have Broderick back also, the story felt worn but it was funny and enjoyable. Stiller always does a pretty good job in all his films but this was one of the better films he's been in. I can't say I disliked the film but I can't say I loved it either it had some stuff and also failed to have some of the better comedy. I liked it all in all I give it a 3 out of 5!

This Steel Gets Real- Real Steel: The IMAX Experience

Charlie Kenton: He's a Spawning bot, built to take allot of hit's but never dish out any
Max Kenton: Get him a fight!

(4 out of 5)

Real Steal is a futuristic film, about the change of the boxing game, now replacing humans with robot's. This movie is NOT the Rock em' Sock em' Robot's movie, but it sure as hell look's like it, when I first saw the trailer for this film, I was not at all interested, Hugh Jackman really went down hill in the past three years, and it was making me nervous on how this would turn out, after the third trailer was released, I decided to give it a shot, and with the IMAX thrown in there I was defiantly down. After I watched this film, I was blown away, good direction, exceptional special effects, pretty good acting, a good cast, and kick ass robot fighting scenes, this movie impressed me and kept me entertained from start to finish, and I honestly want this movie to be added to my blu-ray collection, it has allot of good element's tat makes it what it is, even know I've seen the father son story done 100000,0000 times it's always good to mix it up in a new film.

The film follows Charlie Kenton, who is a dead beat and has no money, and has allot of debt to pay off, he buys junk bots and trys to make cash, It's not working out for him so well, after another loss, he is bombarded with news that his ex-wife has passed away, and he has to be a father, he decides to take the kid for the summer, they bond while finding a junk yard robot Atom, and train him to be the best. It really lives up to it's expectations because it has everything you want in a film like this, comedy, cheese, action, and a heart felt connection between a father and a son.

The film doesn't fail with entertaining, it just lacks in the run time, I would love to have been watching this film for at least another half a hour, it only has a runtime of 2hrs and 6 minuet's so it leaves you wanting more, but it still lives up to the hype and offers more than you bargained for, it has it all and leaves you happy from start to finish. The IMAX experience was pretty amazing also, nice sound and picture, it made you feel like you were in the audience cheering.

50/50 provides you with a chance to live

Kyle: It looks bad we should have wen't to a barber
Adam: Yeah paying someone would have been better than using your balls trimmer.
Kyle: I didn't wash them ever, but it wasn't my balls it was my asshole.

50/50 is one of the best films of this year, 2011 is a amazing year for film's, and this is defiantly in my top 10 so far, it''s hilarious and raunchy but yet still very touching, it's such a good film, because so many people go through this type of situation every day, and it's so good to finally experience it, even though it's not the authentic experience the film leaves you feeling educated, heart warmed, and humbled, it's just so good. What are the odds?

The film follows a 27 year old named Adam, who after having back pain for a while decides to go get a check up and finds out he has cancer, his best friend Kyle reacts to it by curing it with sex, and illegal drugs, but Adam want's a little more, his girlfriend was caught cheating, he's alone in his house with his dog skeletalor, and he just can't stand the pain, or the pressure of having cancer. It is a great story involving real life problems and has so much to offer for everyone. It also is sad and upsetting, but it is a good film to experience.

This is one touching "Dolphin Tale"

Dr.Mccarthy: You want me to pin a tail on a fish?
***** out of *****
(5 out of 5)

this is a spectacular example of what every inspirational movie should be like, it has a great cast, even the children do a great job, it has a great atmosphere and a good true story. Unless your heart is made out of brick and motar there is no way you won't have tears rolling down those expensive 3-D glasses, this is something you don't see everyday in a children's film, it manages to be cute without being sappy, also a good amount of realistic element's that bring this film to life (Well it also is in 3D).
So, you have a young boy forced to go to summer school, and if that doesn't suck enough, his cousin is being shipped to the army, and he feels lost and lonely, one day while riding his bike down by the beach, Sawyer comes by a man who spot's a young dolphin washed on the shore with a crab trap around the dolphins tale, Sawyer is quick to act, and releases the dolphin, but she is weak, the Marine life EMS is called immediately, and the dolphin is rushed to safety. A few days past, and Sawyer is curious to see how the dolphin is doing, word is she won't swim, her tail has been without circulation for too long, and the best thing for her was to amputate her tail, and more bad news for Sawyer he find's out that his cousin is hurt badly, and he is in the worst state of depression right now, the only way to save the dolphin who his companion Hazel call's "Winter"  is to help her swim up and down instead of side to side, because it will fracture her spine causing her to die, Sawyer meets a doctor by the name of Cameron Mccarthy and persuades him to help Winter, by building her a prosthetic tail. The film is well shot, and done also acted, very emotional as well and it leaves you with a warm heart when you get out the theater. i highly recommend  it highly for family's and even adult's.

Dolphin Tale is a very touching film, make sure you bring your heart, this is one emotional fish tale, children will love it and so will adult's.
