Opening This Weekend: Pxars weakest looking film, and Cameron Diaz's exploitation film.

This weekend (June 24th 2011) there are films being released and I am here to express my feelings on them. The first film being released is John Lasseter's weakest looking film Disney Pixar's Cars 2, and the truth is this film looks terrible, when it was announced that the weakest movie from Pixar Cars was going to have a sequel I cringed, I didn't enjoy Cars to begin with and a sequel sounds unnecessary. During Alice and Wonderland in 2010 I saw the teaser trailer, and it looked boring and terrible, and of course Disney will bring this film to the top box office using there largest gimmick "Disney Digital 3D", and many kids will want to see this and it makes me cringe to think about it. The plot follows Lighting McQueen and Mater going to Europe and Japan to compete in the Grand Prix, and they are mistaken for "Master- Spy's" yeah, spy's.....Stupid, hu? I seriously hate these franchise films (other than Toy Story) that are unnecessary, but besides the point that it's stupid its just not going to get any attention from "REAL" Disney fans, because it's not original and its...just stupid, so..I am probably not going to be seeing Cars 2 in 3D or on blu-ray for that matter...Next, we have Bad Teacher, a comedy starring Cameron Diaz, about a foul mouthed teacher that tries to win a state competition to make money to get a new pair of breast to attract a substitute teacher, the film looks pretty funny, but it couldn't be too good, there's too many film's that use comedy to attract a large audience, and quite frankly it annoys me, because there is so many films that suck and are unfunny, and there's only a few done right, but it could be good, I probably will end up seeing this opening weekend, but I can't guarantee anything, so you should probably check with Aaron Neuwirth (www.whysoblu.com) and get a review from him. That is this weekends movie alert and make sure to follow me Via Gmail or Twitter!
