Jesse Peretz brings us one of the best dramatic comedies of 2011, and adds a heartfelt story about a loving guy who just want's to be with his family. The film stars one of my favorite comedians Paul Rudd, and he does a great job in this role, he always does a great job, he has in fact played a hippie before, but not as good as he does here, the film provides a fun enjoyment for almost everyone, this film certainly has a audience, while most will find this "Boring" and "Artsy" the other half will film it heartfelt, hilarious, and most importantly a good film, with a solid story line and actually isn't too vulgar or unappealing, the film offers humor that is pretty much for adults, but the film will pretty much only appeal to older folk's, seeing it is sorta out there, this is defiantly a stoner film, and can't possibly appeal to everyone, but it's sorta like a arthouse film, and its very well done, I enjoyed it greatly, I couldn't help but think, Ned kind of reminds me of myself, he goes out his way to make other people feel better, and that's exactly what kind of person I am, I think why I loved this film so much, is because I actually relate to it.

The film follows Paul Rudd as a Gardner, Ned, who recently just got out of jail, and he finds out his girlfriend has a new guy, and he needs a place to stay, he tries to spend time with his family, that seems to not enjoy his presence but his family doesn't realize what they had until it's gone. It has a great cast with a good story, and really brings you close to a lovable stoner named Ned, he really only want's to be loved, it had me at tears really, it's a amazing film and you will have allot of fun with it, its pretty great.
