Rob The Bank Or Bore Us To Death...30 Minuets Or Less

Chet: It will be okay man.
Nick: No it won't I'm going to fucking blow up

Following the tragic situation of Brian Wells, July of 2007 Wells (A Pizza Delivery Guy ) was forced to rob a bank or be killed with a bomb strapped to his neck, later Wells was arrested and waiting for bomb squad to get to him and he suddenly blew up. Is it okay for Hollywood to poke fun at a tragic situation like Brian Well's? Obviously to director Ruben Fleischer and producer Ben stiller it is, The same thing bothered me in Tropic Thunder, many men gave there lives to fight and they make a film where they poke fun at the tragic situations men are put it, and the same problem applies here, The film was supposed to be a solid comedy, and that's all fine and dandy but this a true story, and I don't think this is respecting the family of Wells really well, but I can't say this film wasn't entertaining or funny because it was both of those thing's but still something deep down doesn't feel right.
The casting in this film is a great choice Eisenberg, Ansari, Mcbride, and Swardson make a great group of comedians. The film has very dark comedy, but it works with this film it was a fun time, but I really felt like it was lacking allot of action between scenes, the film had plenty of hilarious parts, action packed, and adrenalin filled scenes, but it was lacking basic element's and just was really boring through the middle, you were really just waiting to either laugh or see Eisenberg blow up. Ansari obviously was the funniest character in this film and really made a good impression, because this is his first film and it was a very good choice to cast him, Eisenberg was okay, but I was expecting more from him, Mcbride was...Mcbride and Swardson was himself too, thats really the best way to describe it. The story follows a pot smoking, pizza delivery boy (Eisenberg) who is recently looses his best friend and is forced by money hungry Dwayne (Mcbride) to steal money from a bank to pay for a hit men to kill Dwayne's father, and they get in a big mess along the way.
Like I said its funny, it's boring and its dark, I liked this film but I wanted to like it more, but this is a true story and its hard to have a hard time, when someones suffering out there, but all in all its a good time, rent it when it's released on blu-ray and DVD.
