In 1985 there was a film released named "Fright Night" the film was a solid horror flick, and became popular, now, Dreamworks along with director Craig Gilliespie decided to reboot the film, starring Collin Farrell as the beloved Jerry/Vampire, the remake is just as good if not better than the original they both were allot different  from each other and had different elements that fit with each film, this film is a treat for fan boys a horror fan's alike.
The film has a interesting cast using Startrek, and Terminator Salvation's Anton Yelchin as Charlie Brewster, Toni Collette as his mother Jane Brewster, Christopher Mintz Plasse as Ed, and of course Collin Farrell as the evil vampire OH and let's not forget the vamp slayer David Tennant as the star of the show Peter Vincent. The film is incredibly well done in all fields and is very had to pick at it, it's honestly like a ride at Universal Studios, and you can't help but have a good amount of fun with this film, it stays true to vamp history, with allot of high school antic's, but not so much it's stupid, its a well deserved reboot and it's done well.
The film follows Charlie Brewster a teen just getting popular after ditching his friend Ed, but something creepy's going on when the new neighbor moves in people start disappearing, the film has alot of thrills and scares to it and it's all done in glorious 3D, films like these are what 3D was made for, the film was extremely dark at parts, so dark I had to watch certain clips without the glasses, but most of the time the 3D looked good, and had a exceptional amount of depth and was a pretty good 3D experience, it worked well with the film, I have very little complaints with this film, it was good, and very well done.
