Apes Rise, So do Audiences !

****1/2 out of *****
(4 1/2 out of 5)

Doge Landon: Take your paws off me you damn dirty ape!
Ceaser: NO!

To start off this review I'm going to tell you this film was absolutely EPIC and there wasn't one part that didn't leave me jaw dropped or entertained, The CGI was believable and so was the story and it was excellent, I loved how this is a reboot and not another sequel because word is they are starting to make sequels to rebuild the franchise, and that is GOOD news. The cast selection was great for this film, it was hard to believe at first Franco was going to be playing a doctor, but it all worked out, Andy Serkis as Ceaser was great, even know you never see this guy you know he's a great actor, he plays a ape and still steals the show, it's quite amazing, and interesting, before I wen't and saw this wonderful film I went online and checked out the footage of the making of Ceaser and how they did all the animation, and all that good stuff, Weta Digital the geniuses behind Avatar worked on this project and it pays off, its just so wonderful to see "The Apes" brought back not looking cheesy and a great story.

The story is a doctor named Will Rodman (James Franco) is working on a cure for Alzheimer's and is testing the drug on a Ape named Bright eyes, Bright eyes while trying to protect her new chimp goes insane and ends up getting shot, while she destroys most of the building, after being forced to put down all the 12 apes Dr. Robert Franklin (Tyler Labine) find's the chimp and is either forced to put him down or keep him, but he can't keep him because the company will find out, so Will agrees to take care of him and that short time care turns into a life long friendship, I am not giving you ANYMORE spoilers, so you will have to check out the rest of the film, but honestly this film is amazing.

I think this film comes on the top as one of my favorite films of 2011, better yet of all time, I can't even explain my feelings on how epic this movie is, and I recommend it to anyone that is a fan of  Scifi or Planet Of The Ape's, It also is a very touching film about friendship and very sad in the uses of animal cruelty, everything is just well done!
