Contagion spreads throughout and then goes away without a long effect

Contagion is a film that doesn't disappoint but it leaves you hanging, it's not bad, confusing, or anything it's just not amazing, its a very intense film, but it wouldn't be called a thriller, it can only do so much, it lives up to the hype, but that's not all it does, it provides a wonderful cast with great acting, it just fails to bring a on the edge of your seat feeling, it is very calm, and not very fast moving, also the film is cut down allot shorter than it was film, I can tell because there has to be so much more to it, it seems like the film was at least four hours long and cut down and edited into a short run time of a hour and forty nine minuet's, and that can work every now and then but here, it doesn't the movie provides what your asking for then just ends, leaving you asking, that's all?

It starts out with Beth Emhoff (Gwyneth Paltrow) flying home, and then shes sick, she hugs her kid, he's sick, then his nurse is sick, and so on and so on, this sickness turns into a worldwide virus killing thousands, then millions within three months( That's a BIG virus). While Matt Damon's character is immune to this virus, everyone else isn't and there's a team led by Laurence Fishburne's character and they try to find a cure, now that may not seem like much of  a story to a certain few of viewers, but it's very interesting, and fun to watch, even though it doesn't leave you feeling complete, it does what it's supposed to do, but it barley add's anything then makes you think it is amazing, if the film was about 2 hours longer it could easily be amazing, but it can't be oscar worthy due to the editing of this film, I really wanted to LOVE this, but I only ended up liking it, I did enjoy it, and yes it was good, I do recommend it , it really gets into the fact of  how a disease can spread so easily, and what would go on if this happend, The films is a solid 4 Star movie, but could have been better.

Sickness does happen, that's why this film is so interesting, it's worth giving a shot, because you have nothing to loose, it has a great story, a talented cast and great artistic type cinematography shot's, it's not worth the IMAX price, because it only has the ability to show you a larger picture, no 3D, no explosions just people getting sick, it's good, its fun, been there..done that. The film is good, see it. BUT Warrior is SO much better
