(Holding a bullet up to Cook's head)

(5 out of 5)
Ryan Gosling is an amazing actor, all I've ever seen him be is a comedic genius with allot of charm, for him to bring such a believable part to this role is simple amazing. I honestly couldn't stop watching this film, from its beautiful cinematography to the acting, the film was breathtaking, it has a art house feel with a action kick, never in my life would I have expected this. There is no moment where the film feels unbalanced or boring, it leaves you on the edge of your seat with your blood running cold down your spine.

The film follows a get away driver/ stunt driver named "Driver", he will drive you to safety, but only in the five minuet's you paid him for. Driver finds a somewhat sexy friend who he starts to develop feelings for, Irene, he discovers her husband is getting out of jail soon, and the day after he meets Irene's husband Standard, the newly released ex-con is jumped ans beat brutally in front of his son Benicio, Driver asks Standard why he was beat, he soon realize's he needs to help this family. In the meantime his boss Shannon is involved with a real asshole named Bernie Rose, who invest's with Shannon for a film scene, but the situation becomes far more complicated, and Driver get's included in the situation and he has to dirty up his hands, so he can protect Irene.

The film is well put together, well acted and just greatly done, not a thing bored me or kept me off track, its a very solid inde film, with allot of action, and suspense, this is a art house film, and a wonderful film, it uses everything it has and takes advantage of all it's perks to create a phenomenal film that will leaves viewers speechless, It's defiantly not for everyone, but like every film, it has a certain crowd, and fans will go wild, Drive is a real treat for film lovers EVERYWHERE!
