Now, we have a big line up of films for the rest of the year, most of them I do want to see, while other's I do not, if you look closely, you will see most of these films are (dreadfully) being released in 3D, while only some (3 or 4) of them are actually shot in 3D, but Hollywood will never stop ripping us off, so I can't complain about 3D anymore. The Film's I am looking forward to the most, Captain America, Shark Night, and Piranha 3DD.
Captain America looks pretty good, with a background tale on how he became the first avenger, and I am down for that, looks like a non-stop action packed ride with Johnny flame ( Chris Evans) as the Captain himself, and Wolf killing Hugo Weaving as the Nazi leading Red Skull, looks like it should be fun with that gimmicky 3D to hurt your brain in 30 seconds.
Next, we have Shark Night 3D, looks promising but the PG-13 rating tells otherwise, Looks like it will use it's eye popping 3D well, while the blood, tits, and gore are out of the picture, which pisses me off, you cant have hot teens in a lake and trapped sharks without sex and gore, and that's why this movie has the option of being good, or sucking so bad it makes 5.0 million its opening weekend, guess I will find out September 2nd.
Now, Piranha 3DD, being shot in my state, and the city Wilmington, North Carolina, I am totally siked to see how this is going to turn out, Adult piranhas trapped in the sewer and forced to eat hot sex teens in a water park? BRING IT ON! If Piranha 3DD even has half as much tits and blood as the first one i'll still be satisfied, because the first one was great, and word is Ving Rhames is back on the cast (because apparently he DIDN'T die in the first Piranha?) and thats good for me, I love a good comeback with a bad ass security officer killing killer fish in a water park, I don't care how cheesy it is this film's going to be the spotlight of the year (hopefully).
So you got several good films coming out and some shitty ones, but hey, they may be good...?
